Payzippy was launched in 2013 by Flipkart as an e-wallet. The product has now evolved to becoming a full-fledged payment gateway. However, at the time of its launch, there was no e-wallet in existence in India. Hence, it was particularly difficult to communicate its product offering to the customers. Also, considering the Indian customers are still shy of online payments, it was even tougher to get this communication across.
Hence, we decided to keep the communication very simple and clear at the time of launch. The idea was to communicate that this is an online wallet which will make online shopping even more convenient. An imagery of wallet with the clean brand colors was used to successfully put the message across.
